Buying

What does "tested" mean at NullPoint?

Every applicable function of every unit is measured on our bench against a named reference, and each reading is recorded. The results are published on that unit's own test report, so you can see the actual numbers before you buy, not just a "tested, works" note.

Is the test report a calibration certificate?

No. Our reports are functional verification: they show how your unit measured on our bench on the test date. They aren't ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration. If you need a calibration certificate for regulated or critical work, have the unit calibrated by an accredited lab after purchase.

Are the photos of my actual unit?

Some units show stock photos of their model and some show photos of the unit itself. We only use stock photos when they show exactly what you'll receive. Either way, your unit's condition is graded and described in words on its test report, and its "In the box" list is our written promise of what ships.

What do the condition grades mean?

Grades describe looks and completeness only: every graded unit passed every test on its report.

  • A+ Pristine: No visible signs of prior use.
  • A Excellent: Faint marks, visible only up close.
  • B Very Good: Light, normal wear.
  • C Good: Moderate wear, every function in spec.
  • D Fair: Heavy cosmetic wear, fully functional.

See How We Test for how we grade.

Can I pick a specific unit?

Yes. Every unit is sold individually. Open a model, compare the tested units' reports, and tick the ones you want: the quantity and total update as you go, then add them to your cart together.

What comes in the box?

Each model page lists what's included. Every unit comes with a new battery, is cleaned and securely packed, and carries a QR sticker linking to its test report.

How do I pay? Is it secure?

Checkout is handled by Stripe: card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Your card details go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Do you charge sales tax?

Where the law requires it, sales tax is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay.

A model is sold out. Can I get notified?

Yes. On the model's page, enter your email under Notify Me and we'll email you when the next one is tested and ready.

Shipping

How much is shipping?

Free on every order.

How long does it take?

Orders usually ship within 1–2 business days. You'll get the tracking number as soon as it ships, and your order page shows tracking too.

Where do you ship?

To addresses in the U.S.A.

I lost my order link. How do I check my order?

Use Find your order with your order number and the email you used at checkout, or contact us.

Returns and support

What's your return policy?

You can return any unit within 30 days of delivery, for any reason. Return shipping is always on us, and there are no restocking fees. See our Returns Policy.

How do I start a return?

Open your order page and choose "Need to return something?", or contact us. We'll email you a prepaid return label, usually within one business day.

What if my unit doesn't match its report?

Contact us. We'll send a free return label and give you a full refund, or another tested unit of the same model if one is in stock and you'd prefer that.

What's covered after I buy?

Every unit is covered by our 30-day promise, on top of your rights under the law. A manufacturer's original warranty may not carry over to units we sell.

How do I find my unit's test report?

Scan the QR sticker on the unit, or enter its serial number (or just the last 4 characters) on the Test Reports page.

Will my unit's report ever change?

No. If a unit is ever tested again, for example after a return, that's a new dated report. The test report link on your order page keeps showing the report you bought on.

How do I contact you?

Use the form on our Support page. You'll hear back from the person who tested your unit, usually within one business day.
